Effective Aug 31, 2011 Medicine Hat Musical Theatre became the sole owner of 1221-10th Ave SW. The name of the building has been changed from Community Theatre Arts Center (CTAC) to Musical Theatre Playhouse.
Medicine Hat Musical Theatre is celebrating its 50th anniversary during 2011. With the acquisition of a permanent home and performing theater, we are looking forward to continuing to provide first class theatre performances in our friendly and inviting space. We continue to improve the venue, and expect to offer a wide variety of shows in the future. We are currently working on our first season of shows, and hope to have a seasons pass available for next year.

Medicine Hat Musical Theatre
Medicine Hat Musical Theatre exists to provide the citizens of the City of Medicine Hat and the surrounding areas with entertainment through the medium of amateur musical theatre. Medicine Hat Musical Theatre will demonstrate leadership in the promotion of musical theatre and support community members committed to theatrical productions. Medicine Hat Musical Theatre will work in partnership with other community groups to promote the performing arts and, wherever possible, promote the cultural initiatives of other community groups.
